0 How To Prevent Bouncy House Injuries

By Richardo Manning

Let's face it. Bouncy houses are fun. Super fun. But for most grown-ups, they also come with that sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach. As great as it is to watch your kid bounce around with that gleeful smile on his or her face, it's equally awful to have to pull them out crying from some kind of accident. As fun as bouncy houses can be, they are undeniably dangerous. So do you just make them stay out forever? That's up to you. If you do decide to let them go on bouncing, here are a few tips to minimize the risk and keep your babies safe!

As it may be difficult for you to relate to their childhood, here are a few tips and tricks to be able to keep your children active and healthy before they even have time to realize it.

No matter when you were born, there was one game that defined your generation. The games have changed and become more technologized over time but the old games still exist. Pull one out and play with family and friends and remember how easy it used to be to be entertained and have fun. While they are still young, devote as much time as you can to your kids. Playing with them will rub off on you and make you feel like a kid again as well. Build a fort for watching movies in together, sleep in a tent outside looking at the stars together, or you can even rent inflatable bounce houses in Utah to jump in safely with them.

Make sure you know the accommodation limits of each bouncy house. If only six kids are allowed in at a time, make sure that no more than six kids play at a time. It is also a good idea to run through some of your own rules with your kids. For example, you could tell them no fighting, no bouncing into other kids on purpose, no lying on the ground, no bouncing off the walls. Whatever makes you feel more comfortable!

It is also important to make sure that only kids of the same size are playing together in the bouncy house. Larger kids tend to be more reckless and often don't realize how fragile their smaller peers are. Even responsible older kids could cause serious damage to smaller bodies if they lose control and fly into a smaller child. The same goes for adults. No matter how careful you are, accidents can easily happen. In the battle between adult body and toddler body, the child will lose.

Nothing transforms a rational adult human being into a blubbering baby faster than a puppy or a kitten. Quit resisting the temptation and adopt one already, you'll feel the effects instantaneously.

With these precautions, your child should be pretty secure in playing in a bouncy house. They are not inherently evil places. Besides, accidents can happen anywhere. And children are surprisingly resilient. Even if they get hurt, many want to jump right back in. You can trust Bounce House Utah to provide you with a fun, exciting bounce house experience!
